We gathered our insights from Hometex. From color to material, from form to presentation, these notes clearly show where design is heading today.
01. Dopamine Domesticity
For a long time, minimal, beige, simple, and neutral homes were dominant. Now, people want to see more color, energy, joy, and character in their homes. Colorful patterns, bold combinations, graphic surfaces, voluminous textures, and strong contrasts define the foundation of this trend.

02. Conscious Tech
In home textiles, smart, functional, and sustainable products are coming forward. It is no longer enough to look good. Products are expected to be durable, healthy, responsible, and practical. Users want to know what they are made of, how they are produced, how easy they are to maintain, and their environmental impact.

03. Intimate Identity
Home textiles are increasingly focused on comfort, calm, and personal rhythm. This trend comes from how closely textiles interact with people. While sleeping, resting, sitting, or bathing, we are always in contact with them. That’s why softness, breathability, lightness, natural touch, comfort, and a sense of trust are becoming essential.

04. Milou Ket’s Seminar
Milou Ket also took part at Hometex. In her seminar on Ket Styling & Design 27/28 home textile forecasts, she highlighted a strong shift from geometric monochrome forms to softer, lived-in shapes, and from maximal, energetic designs to more calm and meditative approaches.

05. Rewriting Space
Sociologist Pınar Saklıyan Koçali also took part at Hometex. In her presentations, she emphasized that space is no longer just a physical setting, but an expression of identity. Colors, textures, patterns, and layouts reflect the user’s character and lifestyle, turning interiors into personal, story-driven spaces.
